charles is visual development and color artist for animation based in los angeles. he has worked at studios such as sony pictures animation, netflix, disney tva, cartoon network, walt disney animation studios, and more. he has 8 years experience in roles such as color supervisor, visual development artist, background design/paint, and cg lighting artist. charles loves telling stories and conveying mood through unique use of shape, composition, color, and atmosphere. before moving to los angeles, he was born and raised in the suburbs of chicago, taught english in japan, and graduated with a degree in animation from a school in utah.
